We recognise that although technical methods of moderation are very useful tools, there is no substitute for a human, hands-on approach. And this is why we employ real people to moderate the hotel 24 hours a day, every day.

 

Who are the Moderators and what can they do?
Moderators are carefully selected, police vetted and fully trained members of Habbo Hotel staff. They can send warnings to misbehaving Habbos, kick them out of rooms or even ban them from the hotel. Our Moderators will not hesitate to contact the police if they feel it is necessary.

Our Moderators are backed up by a team of nearly 200 hotel guides called Hobbas. Hobbas are players who know a lot about the hotel and want to help other players understand what to do and how to enjoy Habbo Hotel as much as they can.

How do I contact a Moderator?
To get emergency help from a Moderator, at any time of the day or night, simply use the 'Call for help' function, located in the blue question mark at the bottom of the screen. A Moderator (or maybe a Hobba if your problem is simpler to solve) will either send you a message or come and see you.

The 'Call for help' is Habbo Hotel's '999' service - please only use it in emergencies. For general questions, please take a look at the FAQ's.

How many Moderators do Habbohotel have?
We have a team of 24 Habbohotel Moderators moderating the hotel - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Moderators work in 4 hour shift intervals.

How do I identify a Moderator?
You can identify a Moderator by clicking on their Habbo character. A shiny diamond 'Habbo staff' badge will appear at the side of their character, on the right hand side of your screen.
